Training Event Details

Ontario legislation requires "certified" members on the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC). This course meets the expectations of the JHSC Part 1 Basic Certification Training as outlined by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB). Participants will learn the mandatory requirements through an interactive presentation which emphasizes how the information applies to the workplace.

While intended for certified JHSC members, this course is also beneficial to any member of an organization including managers, supervisors, workers and non-certified JHSC members.
