EKG was contracted by a leading chemical manufacturer to conduct a multi-site/multi-provincial EHS audits. The purpose of the audit was to provide an objective review of the operations, concerning regulatory compliance against federal, provincial, and municipal regulations. Additionally, assess the implementation of corporate governance initiatives.
These audits consisted of a multi-disciplined auditing team with extensive EHS experience and qualifications in both ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards. Each site produced a mix of similar and unique products. The EHS program derived from US Corporate, Canadian and site level requirements.
