Lockout/Tagout

Since our inception in 1990 EKG has been developing activity/machine specific lockout/tagout work instructions using the process known as visual factory. EKG provided resources competent in the various energy sources present, including pneumatic, hydraulic, kinetic/potential, and electrical.

The method utilizes a visual process demonstrate the process to isolate all energy sources, whether from a simple device or complex production line, then to test and verify the equipment is truly de-energized. These instructions located at the specific equipment on a placard.

A national diary brand contracted EKG to develop lockout/tagout placards for production lines and facility related equipment across Canada. EKG also provided instruction and working templates to allow the client to update and develop lockout/tagout placards internally in the future. A training program was included for the organization.
