Health & Safety Specialists

Our H&S Specialists have a broad knowledge base and can identify and solve complex Health and Safety issues while improving the client’s Health and Safety program through a wide variety of activities. EKG health and safety personnel are registered and certified under one or more of the following designations CRSP, CSP or CHSC.

Industrial Hygienists

An industrial hygienist has a background in engineering, chemistry, physics, or a closely related biological or physical science background. Industrial Hygiene is a science and art devoted to the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, prevention, and control of those environmental factors or stresses arising in or from the workplace which may cause sickness, impaired health and well being, or significant discomfort among workers, or the general public. Ergonomists

Ergonomists are responsible for studying the relationships between people and tools, equipment, working and living environments. Ergonomists apply their findings and knowledge to enhance the well-being, performance, comfort, and safety of individuals. Ergonomists must ensure that the design and function of products, tasks and work methods are compatible with human characteristics. Whether working proactively or reactively, we strive to eliminate risk factors thus reducing injuries.
