Course Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy for Live In-person or Virtual Courses
1. Cancellation by the Student:
a. If a student wishes to cancel their enrollment in a course, they must notify the course provider in writing (email, message, or formal letter).
b. Due to the costs incurred to host live events, EKG can only offer credit towards another future course. Cancellations within 3 weeks of the course will receive a 50% course credit. Cancellations within 1 week of the course will not receive a course credit.
2. Cancellation by EKG:
a. EKG reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances, low enrollment, weather conditions, medical reasons, or any other valid reason. In such cases, the course provider will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled students.
b. If a course is canceled by the provider, students will be eligible for a full refund of the course fee or the option to transfer their enrollment to a future in-person, virtual, or e-learning course.
c. EKG is not responsible for the travel costs of students. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover the costs associated with the rescheduling of a course or course cancellation.
3. No-shows:
a. If a student fails to attend a live course without prior notice, they will not be eligible for a refund, credit or rescheduling.
4. Exceptions:
a. In exceptional circumstances, such as medical emergencies or unavoidable situations, the course provider reserves the right to consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation Policy for E-learning Courses
1. Cancellation by Student:
a. Once a course has been accessed by the student, the student will no longer be eligible for a credit or refund. NO EXCEPTIONS.
